Wewantedtovaloriseapackofbeautifullyillustratedboardsusedforteaching.We
hadalreadycollaboratedwiththelibraryoftheuniversity,butcouldn’tcomeupwiththe
opportunitytocreatetheevent.Bymonitoringrelevantactivities,wefinallydiscovered
thatacongressonscientificillustrationwastobeheldinDijon,followedbyayearly
seminar.Weseizedthisopportunityandorganisedanexhibitioninthelibraryhallwith
thehelpofanexhibitiondesignerandatechnicianhiredfortheoccasion.Themultime-
diaserviceoftheuniversityalsoproducedafilmontheexhibition.Alltheparticipants
ofthecongresswereinvitedtotheopeningexhibition.Thisexhibitionisstill“turning”
invariouslocationsthroughBurgundy.
CultureandCity:partnershipoutsidetheuniversity,orhowtoreach
abiggerpublicwithfewerinstruments…?
TheuniversitysignedaconventionwithLeMuséedelaVieBourguignonne,amu-
seuminDijon.Forvariousreasons,mostlytooffergoodconditionsofconservationfor
oldinstruments,agroupof240instrumentsweredepositedinthemuseum.Evenifonly
