factisrecentlyalsobeginningtochange.
LaborresourcesinPolandrequirehugeinvestmentsineducationtogive
youngpeoplefromdifferentbackgroundsequalchances.
Analysisoftheshareofunemployedintheprovinceandinthecountry(by
education)showsthatinPodlaskievoivodshipthereisalargershareofunem-
ployedwithhighereducation,post-secondaryandsecondaryvocationaland
generalsecondaryeducationthaninthecountry.Inothereducationgroups
thesituationisreversed.ItmeansthatPodlaskievoivodshipeconomy,asless
developed,islessreceptiveforemploymentthepeoplewithhighereducation,
post-secondaryandvocationaleducation.
