otherelements.Thereactivenonmetals,suchasoxygenorfluoridescombine
withmostotherelements–metalsornon-metals.Combinationreactionsare
notlimitedtoelements.Theexampleofelementandcompoundcombination
isthereactionofoxygenwithsulfurdioxideformingsulfurtrioxide.
Theaimofthisexperimentistogetfamiliarwiththecombinationreactionof
metalandnon-metal.

occurringinthisspoon.
nAfterfinishingthereactionwaitafewminutestocooldownthespoon
andpouroutthesubstanceonthewatchglass.Observethesubstance
afterthereaction.
