1)tradeandtransactions,
2)capitalandinvestmentmovements,
3)migrationandmovementofpeople,and
4)disseminationofknowledge.5
Thereareopinionsthatlookinguponglobalizationasaprocessthathasbeen
presentinmankindhistoryformanythousandsyearsisunnecessary,whereasthe
authorsofthisarticlethinkthatitisessentialtorememberaboutitveryroots
inordertounderstandthecomplexnatureofit.Atthesametimefromobvious
reasonsauthorsagreethatwiththerespecttocyberdefenseitisnecessaryto
focusonthemostrecenttimes.
Nowmorethaneverthetradeisexpandingontheglobalscaleanddueto
deregulationandcommonaccesstointernettheflowofprivatecapitalmakes
investingeasier.Thepopularizationofglobalizationgivesopportunitiestomake
theWorldabetterplace-morestable,wealthier,moretechnologicallyadvanced,
enjoyingpeaceandpopulatedwithbettereducatedpeople.Atthesametimethe
sameglobalizationprocessesstatethesourceofsocialexclusion,poverty,increase
environmentaldevastationandpromotefocusingonprofitatallcostthatleads
tospreadingofviolentconflicts.Economiccrisesinaneraofglobalizedworld
spreadeasilyacrossnationalbordersandresultinglobaleconomictsunamis.
Globalization-relatedsecuritythreats
Itiscrucialtounderstandthatglobalizationprocesseshaveimportantsecurity
implications.Phenomenasassociatedwithglobalizationasmovementsofpeople,
popularizationofknowledge,promotionofadvancedtechnologiescannotbeonly
consideredasleadingtopositiveoutcome.Theyactuallyalsofuelsomeofthe
problemsandresentmentsthatlieattherootofbiggestsecuritythreats.Vast
varietyofrisksthatusedtobeonlyconsideredaslocalhavechangedtheir
