Anexistentialfeararisingfromthepop-culturalvisionoftransience,whichwas
additionallyslanderedbytheshamefularroganceofthepeoplewhowerepowerless
toexplainthenecessityofanend.Andfromsimpleobservationsitfollowsthat
thegoaloflifeispreciselythebiologicaldeath.Tisalonebringsourexistenceto
thelevelofnonsense,whichontheonehandforcesustobesilentaboutthecom-
pulsionofpassingaway,andtheotherinducesandstrengthensthetragedyofour
existence.Teincongruencetriggeredfromthisresultsinastyleofthinkingwhich
doesnotmakethecolloquialreceptionofinterestinsomethingthatismeaningless.
Terefore,thereflectionontranisenceinthepublicdebateissomethingunique,
unlessitiscausedbysignificantmediaevents.Tus,thedullsilencethatprevails
overtheendofourlivesisinterruptedonlywhendeathafectsthefamouspeople
oristheresultofspectaculartragedies,catastrophes,warsandterrorism.How-
ever,apartfromthemassionsofdestruction,itsexistentialdramaticsignificance
isnotsuitable,butitisreducedtothesizeofanordinaryandaccompanyingevent.
Tepassingoftimeconcernsonlyafewpeopleandthosewhoareinterested,that
is,peopledyingandtheirclosestsurroundings.Suchapositionobviouslymakes
ourexistenceatimeinwhichthereisnoplaceforthenecessityofending.Tus,
passingawayisadepositofthecurrentlyprevailingworldviewconcept,scientific
theoryorstatisticsdeterminingitsattractivenessorlackofcharm.
Andthiscontradictioninthefaceoftheuniversalityofthemanifestations
ofpassingawayisstillanuninterruptedsourceoffearforourindistinctexistence,
whosepurposeiscompletelyunknown.Andnorevelations,statisticsandpara-
digmswillchangeit,atleastuntilthematerialismthatoverwhelmshumanminds
encountersanontologybelongingtoavisiondiferentiallyorderingrealityaccord-
ingtocomplexphilosophicalandscientificassumptionssupportedbyaquantum
interpretationofreality.
