takenissuesareextremelyimportantinthisareaduetolargefragmentationof

farms.Thedevelopmentofexchangesandwholesalemarketsandtheenterprises

operatinginfoodindustrywillforcetheneedtoprovidelargebatchesofuniform,

high-qualityagriculturalproduce.Meetingtheserequirementsispossibledueto

variousformsofcooperationofagriculturalproducers,agri-foodprocessingunits,

aswellasotherunitsofagribusiness.

Specifyingtheessential,cognitiveobjectiveoftheresearch,therewereputfor-

wardhypotheseswhichwillbethesubjectoffurtherdetailedconsideration.The

conductedresearchwillaimatlogicalandempiricalveriﬁcationofthesehypoth-

esesinwhichitwasassumedthat:

—theentitiesoffoodindustryandagriculturalproducersenteringintointegra-

tionlinksaremorelikelytooffsetadverseﬂuctuationsofthemarketgame

parameters;

—thereisapositivecorrelationbetweenthestateofadvancementandtheform

ofintegrationlinksandthelevelofcompetitivenessofagricultureandfood

processing;

—

thebarrierstotheparticipationofagriculturalproducersinintegrationlinks

arethecapabilitiesofquantitativeandqualitativereactionswhicharedeter-

minedbythelevelofincomegainedfromagriculturalproductionandthecon-

ditionsofthenaturalenvironment;

—thedevelopmentofinnovativeformsofintegrationlinksbetweenagriculture

andfoodindustryisdeterminedbymanyfactors,andinparticularbytheeco-

nomicconditionofthecompany/farm,thewilltocooperateandthelevelof

trustbetweenpotentialparticipantsoftheintegratedsystem;

—thenatureoftheregion,withaparticularlyhighshareofagriculture,isapos-

itiveconditionforthedevelopmentofclusterstructures,particularlyinthe

agri-foodsector;

—weaknessofintegrationlinksisabarriertofunctioninganddevelopmentof

processingintheanalyzedarea,thereisthereforeaneedforstrengtheningthe

marketpositionofagriculturalproducerswhichisseenintheexpansionof

clusterinitiatives,whichrequiressupportfromthegovernment,localgovern-

mentandagriculturalorganizations.

Researchhypotheseswereveriﬁedinthreepartswhichwerenotformallysep-

aratedinthestructureofthisstudy.Theﬁrstofthem,includingtheﬁrstchapter,

isfocusedontheoreticalissuescharacterizingtheimportanceofintegrationlinks

infoodproductionanditpresentsdifferentformsofverticalandhorizontalinte-

grationinfoodeconomy.

Thesubjectofthediscussioncarriedoutinthesecondpartofthestudy,includ-

ingthesecondandthirdchapters,isanoverviewoftheconceptofinnovativeinte-

grationlinksandmainfactorsofdevelopmentofclusterinitiativesandstructures.
