farms.Thedevelopmentofexchangesandwholesalemarketsandtheenterprises
operatinginfoodindustrywillforcetheneedtoprovidelargebatchesofuniform,
high-qualityagriculturalproduce.Meetingtheserequirementsispossibledueto
variousformsofcooperationofagriculturalproducers,agri-foodprocessingunits,
aswellasotherunitsofagribusiness.
Specifyingtheessential,cognitiveobjectiveoftheresearch,therewereputfor-
wardhypotheseswhichwillbethesubjectoffurtherdetailedconsideration.The
conductedresearchwillaimatlogicalandempiricalverificationofthesehypoth-
esesinwhichitwasassumedthat:
theentitiesoffoodindustryandagriculturalproducersenteringintointegra-
tionlinksaremorelikelytooffsetadversefluctuationsofthemarketgame
parameters;
thereisapositivecorrelationbetweenthestateofadvancementandtheform
ofintegrationlinksandthelevelofcompetitivenessofagricultureandfood
processing;
thebarrierstotheparticipationofagriculturalproducersinintegrationlinks
arethecapabilitiesofquantitativeandqualitativereactionswhicharedeter-
minedbythelevelofincomegainedfromagriculturalproductionandthecon-
ditionsofthenaturalenvironment;
thedevelopmentofinnovativeformsofintegrationlinksbetweenagriculture
andfoodindustryisdeterminedbymanyfactors,andinparticularbytheeco-
nomicconditionofthecompany/farm,thewilltocooperateandthelevelof
trustbetweenpotentialparticipantsoftheintegratedsystem;
thenatureoftheregion,withaparticularlyhighshareofagriculture,isapos-
itiveconditionforthedevelopmentofclusterstructures,particularlyinthe
agri-foodsector;
weaknessofintegrationlinksisabarriertofunctioninganddevelopmentof
processingintheanalyzedarea,thereisthereforeaneedforstrengtheningthe
marketpositionofagriculturalproducerswhichisseenintheexpansionof
clusterinitiatives,whichrequiressupportfromthegovernment,localgovern-
mentandagriculturalorganizations.
Researchhypotheseswereverifiedinthreepartswhichwerenotformallysep-
aratedinthestructureofthisstudy.Thefirstofthem,includingthefirstchapter,
isfocusedontheoreticalissuescharacterizingtheimportanceofintegrationlinks
infoodproductionanditpresentsdifferentformsofverticalandhorizontalinte-
grationinfoodeconomy.
Thesubjectofthediscussioncarriedoutinthesecondpartofthestudy,includ-
ingthesecondandthirdchapters,isanoverviewoftheconceptofinnovativeinte-
grationlinksandmainfactorsofdevelopmentofclusterinitiativesandstructures.
