In1900,MiedzińskibeganhisstudiesatthestateRussianschoolin
Siedlce.TheRussiansystem,whichwasoustingthevalues,gainedby
theboyathome,hadagreatinfluenceonhischaracter.Atthesame
time,theatmosphereoftheverytown,inhabitedmainlybypoorJews
andthesoldiersofRussiangarrison,madehimmisshishomeand
parents.However,itwastheRussianschoolwherehefirstwitnessed
historicalevents.Herecalledthatwhenhewasinthefirstformhe
becameawitnessoftheschoolriot,organizedbyhisoldercolleagues.
Theirpositionservedhimanexampleofstruggleforvalues,instilledin
himbyhisgrandmotherandhisfatherinhisearlychildhood3.In1903-
1904,duetotheagitationofhisolderschoolmatesherunacrossthe
publications,whichpromotedfoundationofthesocialistmovement.In
severalyears,beforetherevolution1905,hewouldbecomeasupporter
ofthismovement,ifonemayspeakaboutthematurityofsuchchoice
fromtheperspectiveofafourteen-yearoldboy.Nevertheless,the
factisthatBogusławMiedziński,becauseoftheclosureoftheschool
duetorevolts,activelyparticipatedintheevents,happeningaround
him.AlthoughthisparticipationwasbasedmerelyonspreadingSocial
Partyleaflets,singingrevolutionarysongsandinformingaboutthe
marchesoftheRussianarmy,hewasdeeplyconvincedthathewas
doinganextremelyusefuljob,whichprovidedhimwiththestatusof
arevolutionary.
In1906therebeganthenewperiodinBogusławMiedziński’slife.As
aresultofconcessionofthetsaristauthoritiesontheterritoriesofthe
PolishKingdomtherewerefoundedpolishsecondaryschools,inwhich
childrenweretaughtinthePolishlanguageandwhichemployedpolish
teacherswithacademicdegrees.ItpertainedaswelltoSiedlce,where
therewasfoundedPodlaskGymnasium,laterattendedbyBogusław
Miedziński.Inhismemoirs,concerningthisperiodhededicatedmany
warmwordstohisteachers.PedagoguesofPodlaskGymnasiumtaught
