2.Technologicalprocessofassembly
Basedontheanalysisofthedefinitionsintheavailableliterature[2,4,5,8,
16,17,18,22,23,24,25,31,32,44,56,57]itwasassumedthatthetechnological
processofassemblyisthefinalandoneofthemostimportantstagesofthepro-
ductionprocessthathasanimpactonthespecificationsoftheproduct;itisthe
sumoftasksaimedatcombiningallcomponents,subassembliesandassemblies
intoahigher-orderfunctionalunit,whileensuringtheassumedqualitylevel.
Thetechnologicalprocessofassemblyincludesnotonlyalltasksrelateddirectly
totheassembly,butalsometrological,logistic,ergonomicandorganisationalas-
pects.Thestructureofthisprocessconsistsofnumerouselements,andtheamount
ofinformationthatneedstobeanalysedisverylargeandrequires,inmostcases,
amulti-criteriaanalysis.Figure2.1showstherelationshipbetweenindividual
processesandsystems(includingassembly)intheentireproductionprocess.
