Abstract
TheinflowofimmigrantstoPoland,whichhasincreasedinrecentyears,
isparticularlyvisibleatthelocallevel.TheimmigrantsinPolandused
togomoreoftentobigcities,includingmetropolises,whichusedtocause
greaterinvolvementinsupportingtheadaptationandintegrationofnew-
comersintheseplaces.TheinflowofimmigrantstoPolandisbecoming
moreandmorevisibleinsmallandmedium-sizedcitiesalso,whichmay
inducelocalactorstoimplementsolutionsusedandworkinginlarger
inflowcenters.Theincreasingnumberofimmigrantsprecededbyan
increaseinthenumberofregisteredemployer`sdeclarationsregarding
theirwillingnesstoemployaforeignerhasalsobeenmarkedinrecent
yearsinRybnik-inacityintheSilesianVoivodeshipjustunder140,000
inhabitants.Theactivitiesofsupportingimmigrants(mainlyfromUkraine)
havebeenundertakenbynon-governmentalorganization.Althoughthe
thirdsectoractivityinthisareahasonlyjustbegun,importantthatitwas
conductedincooperationwithotherentities,includingthepublicsector,
whichgiveshopeformorepermanentandsystemicfurtheractivities.
