perscanbedividedintotwogroups.Thefirst,largeroneisconnectedwithtime
seriesanalysis.Theothergroupconsistsofthepaperonmiscellaneoustopics.
AlicjaGanczarek-GamrothaspreparedthepaperentitledAssessinglong
memorycharacteristicsofenergyprices.Itdealswithinferenceoncharacteris-
ticsoffinancialtimeserieswithverystrongautocorrelation.Onthebasisofthe
presentedstatisticalmethods,thepropertiesofthePolishelectricitymarketare
analyzed.InthepaperbyGrzegorzKończakentitledOnthemovingblockboot-
strapmethodformonitoringautocorrelatedprocesses,anapplicationofthe
autocorrelatedprocessforthequalitycontrolinvolvingthewellknowncontrol
chartconcepthasbeendescribed.ThenextpaperentitledBayesianquantilere-
gressionbyGrażynaTrzpiotisdevotedtotherelationshipanalysisbasedonthe
