andmedium-skilloneswillbeonzeroonnetdeclinedependingontheindi-
vidualcountry.4Asfarashardskillsareconcerned,themostimportantskills
requiredonthejobmarketwillbetechskillsastheyareofutmostimportance
inthecontextofhigh-paidjobs.Ifwelookatthestatistics,therearesomesec-

doingsoforthelast70years.Tetechindustryisalsothesectorwhichstands
outintermsofsalariescomparedtothemostoftheprofessionswithconstant
growthanddemandfortheemployeeswhichisalmostallthetimeexceeding
thesupply.Teimpactandtheprivilegedpositionoftechjobscanbeseenin
themostadvancedeconomies.Recentresearchconductedbylabormarket
analyticscompanyBurningGlassTechnologiesprovidedresultsshowingthat
techjobspostingsinNewYorkCitytookthefirstplaceregardingthenumber
ofpostings,evencomparingtomedicalpositionswhichareespeciallyimportant
duringpandemic.5BetweenAprilandNovember2020,therewereadvertised
21,268newjobsinthetechindustryinNewYorkCity,whichisalmosttwiceas
manyasthenumberofpostingsforphysicians.6Notonlyaretechjobsleading
theway(althoughevenintechwheretherewasa37%jobpostingtherewas
adeclineatthattime),butthemajorityofremainingjobsalsorequirestrong
digitalskills,evenforthefrontlineclerkswhoarenowexpectedtobefluentat
