INTRODUCTION
Innovativenessisatermwhichhasnotbeenusedinmedicalorganizationsuntil
recently.Itisconnectedwithimplementingnewsolutions,reform,improvement,
inventiveness.Itmayconcernallaspectsandeldsofactivities,alsoinhealth
caresector.
Nowadayscontemporaryhospitalscannotlimittheirintereststoproviding
medicalservices,nottakingintoaccounttheirquality,healthcareormedicalper-
sonnelorganization.Itisprovedthatthemanagementofmedicalorganizations
isinterdisciplinarydomainwheresuchdisciplinesaseconomics,costs,quality
areentwinedwithtechniqueandtechnology,law,knowledgemanagementand
IT.Eachmanagerofamedicalorganizationhastothinkaboutalltheseaspects
simultaneouslybecauseallofthemareequallyimportantforhospital,sexistence.
TheyarepresentedasbenchmarksolutionsimplementedinFranceand
areadercanlearnabouttheanalysisofcostsofmedicalservices,organizational
changespersonnelmanagement,qualityofmedicalserviceswhichexistinPolish
hospitalsorarerecommendedtobeintroduced.
Thecomplexsituationpresentstheneedforintroducingorganizational,man-
agement,personnelinnovationsinhealthcaresector,alsoitrequireschangesin
nancingandcostaccountingsystems.Itisnecessarytoshowastrongdetermi-
nationnotonlytobreakoldstereotypesandhabitsbutalsotoputhealthcareunits
inthegroupofbusinessentitieswhoseactivityprovideprofitfortheirowners.It
issurprisingthatinPolandprivatehealthcareunitsareregardedasreliabletrad-
ingpartners,goodloaneesandrequiredassociatesinnanceswhilepublicunits
arenotinthegroup.Organizationalinnovationsseemtobetheinstrumentswhich
maymakepublichospitalsrequiredandreliablepartnersineconomicaspects,
justlikeitisinotherEuropeancountries.
